Teladoc Health, Inc. seeks Data Scientist III (Multiple Openings) at its facility located at 444 N. Michigan Ave., Suite 3400, Chicago, IL, 60611. Design and build automation tools, data pipelines that help us deliver quality reports on time for a multitude of requests. (10%) Influence upstream system/design, definitions and develop scalable solutions to meet expectations from internal/external stakeholders. (15%) Run ad-hoc data-extracts for requests from diverse partners and automate those needs over time. (5%) Develop visualizations to tell stories effectively. (5%) Build insightful dashboards, self-service tools, and reports to slice/dice data for helping with partners in making strategic decisions for all functional areas such as member experience, product build/performance, clinical research, business operations, growth/retention. (15%) Engage with partners, internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of programs in a fast-paced environment. (10%). Engage with Product, Business, Engineering, and Marketing teams to understand the needs, capture requirements and be the liaison between analytics and business. (15%) Improve data quality and analytic rigor. (5%) Monitor and triage production runs for ensuring data security and veracity. (10%) Proactively identify performance / data quality problems and remedy them. (5%) Continuously refine data quality with testing, tooling, and performance evaluation. (5%).

REQS: This position requires a bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Plus 5 years of experience as a Data Analyst, Data Scientist II, or other occupation/position/job title involving analytics, automation, and data science. Additionally, the applicant must have professional experience with: (1) Writing robust code in Python, Spark, and SQL with Data Science libraries; (2) Designing, developing, deploying, and maintaining production-grade data processing, and deep learning code, pipelines, and systems; (3) Libraries used for creating Deep Learning models, such as Tensorflow or Keras; (4) Developing dashboards and reports to share compelling storytelling through visualizations; (5) Creating data configuration on healthcare data for eligibility and claims analysis; (6) Performing exploratory analysis and data orchestration in Databricks/Jupyter; (7) Using MFT software for secure data transmissions; and (8) Data governance with a focus on securing member’s sensitive data.

In the alternative, we will accept a master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, plus 3 years of experience as a Data Analyst, Data Scientist II, or other occupation/position/job title involving analytics, automation and data science.
