The ASE TV Engineering team is searching for a motivated Data Scientist to enhance the Apple TV app experience. Our role focuses on delivering the Apple TV app on a vast range of TVs and connected TV devices.

We are looking for a Data Scientist with expertise in streaming performance analysis and optimisation. This role focuses on data-driven approaches to enhance the performance and quality of streaming services.

Key Qualifications

Strong background in data science, particularly in relation to streaming technologies.
Proficient in Python and familiar with statistical tools and analysis methods.
Experience with CI/CD practices and performance measurement tools.
Ability to translate data insights into actionable recommendations.

Description

Analyze and optimize streaming performance using data-driven methodologies.
Develop and implement CI/CD tooling for performance tracking and improvement.
Conduct A/B testing and statistical analysis to inform product decisions.
Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate insights into player development and streaming processes.

Education & Experience

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field. Relevant experience in data analysis with a focus on media streaming and performance metrics.
