- Team Leadership:
- Lead and mentor a team of data analysts and scientists, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
- Provide guidance on technical approaches, methodologies, and best practices in data analysis and science.
- Strategic Data Planning:
- Collaborate with business leaders to understand strategic goals and align data analytics initiatives with organizational objectives.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive data strategy that supports business intelligence and decision-making.
- Advanced Analytics and Modeling:
- Oversee the development and implementation of advanced analytical models and algorithms to extract actionable insights from complex datasets.
- Drive innovation in predictive analytics, machine learning, and other data science techniques to enhance business outcomes.
- Data Governance and Quality:
- Establish and enforce data governance standards to ensure the accuracy, consistency, and security of organizational data.
- Implement data quality control processes and continuously monitor and improve data integrity.
- Cross-functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, marketing, finance, and operations, to understand data needs and provide strategic insights.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define and prioritize data analysis projects that align with business priorities.
- Reporting and Visualization:
- Oversee the development of clear and concise reports and dashboards that communicate complex data insights to stakeholders at all levels.
- Ensure the use of effective data visualization techniques to enhance understanding and decision-making.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in data analysis and science.
- Drive continuous improvement in data analytics processes, tools, and methodologies.
- English fluency - conversational and professional writing
- Strong independent judgment, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills required to anticipate and respond to emerging challenges
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience in a leadership role overseeing People/HR data analytics and science teams.
- Expertise in data analysis tools and languages (e.g., Python, R, SQL) and experience with machine learning frameworks.
- Strong business acumen and the ability to translate data insights into actionable business strategies.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to drive results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
