Job Description

Primary Function of Position:

Intuitive Surgical is among the fastest-growing healthcare companies focused on medical technology. Reporting into the Market Access and Custom Analytics organization, this role will be a part of the MACA Data Scientist team that works closely with customers, sales and support service leaders to help drive market adoption and optimize da Vinci minimally invasive robotic assisted surgery.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Serve as analytical support for the MACA Regional Director for strategic IDNs
  • Co-develop digital products with fellow MACA Analysts that empower MACA consulting work with measured ROI in terms of patient and surgeon access
  • Scale digital product utilization and/or processes and best practices
  • Manage multiple digital infrastructure strategies, programs opportunities
  • Experience in developing business situation case studies and integrating insights into clinical pathway planning or redesign
  • Experience in LEAN, Six Sigma, Project Management, DevOps or AGILE

Qualifications

Skill/Job Requirements:

  • 3+ years plus years overall of digital transformation, business intelligence and fact-based case study development; experience in a health care company preferred
  • Healthcare Informatics and Data Systems experience such as Epic, Cerner, McKesson, Meditech, Allscripts preferred
  • Minimum Bachelor degree required, MBA or Masters degree preferred
  • Superior verbal/written communication and presentation skills, teambuilding, and interpersonal skills to work across multiple constituents.
  • Proven ability to solve open-ended problems and work cross-functionally to implement initiatives.
  • Results-driven attitude & a resolve to win; must be self-directed with the ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Great presentation skills including ability to present to large customer groups, executives, or sales team members.
  • Must be well versed in MS Office Suite and one or more of these platforms Python, Tableau, R, MSFT BI or SQL
  • Travel minimum of 25%; 40% for remote based employees

We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, benefits, and equity. It would not be typical for someone to be hired at the top end of range for the role, as actual pay will be determined based on several factors, including experience, skills, and qualifications. The target salary ranges are listed.

Base Salary Range Region 1: $140,800 - $202,600 Base Salary Range Region 2: $119,600 - $172,200

Workplace Type: Remote - This job will be remote and/or the job is designed to be performed outside of the office. Employees will come onsite when requested by the leader.
