Job Description:

Roles and Responsibilities:

The primary responsibilities of the Manager, Data Science and Business Analytics will include:

Data Analysis and Interpretation

  • Conduct in-depth analysis of sales data to identify patterns, trends, and insights.
  • Develop and implement data models to predict future sales performance and identify opportunities for growth.

Strategy Development

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop data-driven sales strategies.
  • Provide actionable recommendations based on data insights to improve sales performance and drive business growth.

Advanced Analytics

  • Utilize advanced analytical techniques, include machine learning and predictive modeling, to derive insights from complex data sets.

Innovation and Continuous Improvement

  • Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the effectiveness of data analytics processes.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies in data science and business analytics.

Requirements and Specifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Business Analytics, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred
  • At least 5 years of experience in data science, business analytics, or a related field.
  • Experience with sales data analysis and strategy development is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in statistical software and programming languages such as Python, R, SQL
  • Strong understanding of data modeling, machine learning, and predictive analytics techniques.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and presentation abilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
