What You Will Do
This position will be responsible for the maintenance and creation of various Power BI reporting solutions across the Sustainability Solutions business. You will be required to understand, document, test, and deploy reporting based on stakeholder requirements. You will work with data engineers to create and modify the underlying data models which support the front end of reporting. You will be responsible for the validation and auditing of our analytical tools. You are also expected to develop a strong understanding of business goals and objectives, and deploying solutions that develop significant value and clinical outcomes to internal and external customers.
Essential duties & responsibilities:
- Work cooperatively with cross-functional stakeholders to understand their requirements and developing associated solutions in Power BI.
- Maintain an accurate reporting library of solutions across the business and ensure data reflected in those solutions is accurate and meaningful.
- Create elementary data engineering solutions and work closely with data engineers to document requirements and deploy more technical needs.
- Understand the business relevance of data in various systems, including but not limited to SAP and JDE ERP.
- Understand key relationships between data stored in multiple tables and/or systems.
- Develop DAX code to implement Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) within reporting solutions across multiple business segments.
- Identify actionable insights and suggest recommendations to influence the direction of the business.
- Lead and deliver presentations that articulate data and reporting solutions to stakeholders.
- Provide helpful insights in discussions on identifying opportunities in data analytics to enable business opportunities with key stakeholders.
What You Will Need
- Bachelor's Degree in computer science, data analytics, mathematics, statistics, data science or a related field with applicable data analytics work experience is required
- 2+ years of relevant work experience required.
- Experience in SQL, Power Query, and DAX required.
- Proficiency required in data transformation and cleansing.
- Understanding of relational database and data modeling concepts.
- Proficiency in data governance concepts required.
- Ability to clearly articulate solutions and present data in a meaningful way to stakeholders.
- Ability to work cross-functionally, build strong relationships, and be held accountable.
