📄 JOB DESCRIPTION - SENIOR DATA SCIENTIST

Adot, a subsidiary of Veepee, is a marketing solution operating in the world of Real-Time Bidding (RTB). It has a proprietary DSP enabling its customers (advertisers) to deliver targeted advertising campaigns. Thanks to our proprietary DMP, we also use our data to carry out marketing studies.

As a Senior Data Scientist at Adot, you will be joining a multidisciplinary team of Data Scientists, Data Engineers, Data Analysts and BI Analysts totaling 8 people occupying a central place in the company. Your mission will be to develop, deploy and maintain our suite of algorithms and pipelines used for a wide range of online advertising purposes, such as multi-label classification, user knowledge and automatic real-time bidding, all in a very challenging Big Data environment in terms of volume (10TB/day) and latency.

🎯 TASKS

• Assume responsibility for the team's Data Science projects in all aspects from problem definition to implementation and maintenance;
• Train, version and deploy ML/DL models in a cloud or in-house environment;
• Write production-ready code and ensure the quality of code put into production through code reviews;
• Develop and maintain algorithms currently in production (a mix of ML and deterministic code);
• Keep up with technological advancements to stay at the forefront of trends;
• Contribute to the life of the team and the company: become a key contact for operational teams to respond to business issues;
• Provide mentoring to more junior members of the team

👉 MUST HAVE skills

• You have at least 5 years of experience in Data Science;
• You possess good knowledge of Python and SQL;
• You are curious, pragmatic, and have an analytical approach;
• Statistics hold no secrets for you;
• You master machine learning from feature engineering, through training and evaluation, to deployment, monitoring, and serving;
• You have already worked on an NLP topic, ideally with PyTorch;
• You have used Spark (PySpark or Spark Scala). Experience in the Real-time bidding field is a plus;
• You know and apply good development practices: Git, CI/CD, unit tests, documentation, etc;
• You are capable of working independently and managing complex projects;
• You are a team player, enjoy sharing knowledge, and help your colleagues when needed;
• You can easily express yourself in both French and English, orally and in writing.

• Cloud experience is a plus;
• Experience with Scala is a plus;
