About the Role

Our mission is create the best platform for earners. We are focusing on building a personalized experience that empowers earners to earn and progress effectively at Uber. We are looking for an experienced candidate who is passionate about our mission. You will be leading the data science effort to build products that support and motivate earners.

What You Will Need

Develop data-driven insights to identify opportunities to improve the product
Define how our teams measure success by developing metrics
Design experiments and interpret results to make recommendations
Collaborate with Product, Engineering and Design
5+ years of industry experience
Experience in generating data insights to influence product development
Ability to define data science roadmap
Experience in mentoring junior DS

Basic Qualifications

Ph.D., M.S., or Bachelors degree in Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, or other quantitative fields.
Minimum 5 years of industry experience as a Data Scientist or equivalent.
Experience in experimental design and analysis, exploratory data analysis and statistical analysis.
Experience with dashboard/data visualization toolings.
Ability to use Python/R to work efficiently at scale with large data sets.
Proficiency in SQL.
Strong communication skills across technical, non-technical, and executive audiences.
