What you'll do at Jamf:

The Senior Data Scientist will be at the forefront of refining and developing financial reports, dashboards, and metrics for financial results & planning. Utilizing your expertise in data analysis, mining, and machine learning, you'll unveil valuable insights, construct predictive models, and shape the future of data science within FP&A. We're seeking someone intellectually curious, naturally analytical, and driven to create value in every aspect of their work. As a liaison between FP&A and the Business Intelligence team, your objective perspective will guide us towards well-informed decisions, understanding trends, anomalies, and customer behaviors.

What you can expect to do in this role:

  • Generate insightful reports, dashboards, and presentations summarizing findings, insights, and recommendations for senior management, ensuring adherence to established standards.
  • Develop robust KPIs and metrics models for forecasting and tracking company performance.
  • Collaborate closely with FP&A and Business Intelligence teams to seamlessly integrate data science solutions into monthly and ad hoc processes.
  • Provide timely ad hoc data and analysis requests.
  • Develop and maintain predictive models to assess risks and provide strategic insights for financial forecasting.
  • Continuously improve and automate data extraction, reporting, and insights processes.
  • Contribute to pricing initiatives by establishing and managing datasets specifically tailored for FP&A pricing analysis.
  • Keep up to date with the latest advancements in data science and technology to suggest and execute innovative solutions.
  • Pursue professional growth by actively seeking and acting on performance feedback, fostering collaborative relationships, and implementing improvements.

What we are looking for:

  • Minimum of 4 years of proven work experience in data science and analytics/visualizations. (Required)
  • Experience in partnering with finance or working on a finance team. (Required)
  • Proficient in analyzing extensive datasets to extract valuable insights using your experience in data extraction and data mining.
  • Highly skilled in utilizing analytical and data visualization tools, such as Python, SQL, Excel, Domo, and BI Tools.
  • Outstanding ability to communicate and collaborate, effectively translating technical findings for non-technical audiences.
  • Adaptability to changing priorities and effectiveness in fast-paced environments.
  • Strong project management and multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Education & Certifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Statistics, Data Science, Mathematics, Engineering or related field. (Required)
