Do work that matters


As the Senior Data Scientist working within the CDAO growth modelling supporting Home Buying acquisition, you will use your technical knowledge and understanding of business domain to define, own, drive and deliver highly complex modelling projects independently. You will be involved in and drive multiple initiatives in parallel.


You will work closely with key stakeholders, and cross-functional teams within the CDAO and the home buying teams and the wider business stakeholders to ensure best customer and business outcomes, while solving real-time business problems.


As a community, our data scientists have diverse backgrounds and industry experience, with state-of-the-art machine learning research and development expertise, and in-depth knowledge of structured and unstructured data in the Bank.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Spearhead innovative approaches to model and accelerate customer acquisition and product growth
  • Continuously experiment with and refine predictive models for user behaviour and lifetime value
  • Develop agile, iterative A/B testing frameworks to rapidly optimize marketing and product strategies
  • Transform complex datasets into actionable growth strategies, always pushing for better solutions
  • Collaborate across teams to implement data-driven growth hacks and measure their impact
  • Proactively identify new opportunities for growth and efficiency improvements in our acquisition funnel
  • Mentor team members and contribute to building a data-driven growth culture

Tech skills:


We use a broad range of tools, languages, and frameworks. We don't expect you to know them all but experience or exposure to any ML systems and statistical modelling will set you up for success in this role!

  • Solid foundational experience leading projects within Data Science, ML models and AI within a financial services organisation or an equivalent large-scale environment.
  • Strong hands-on coding and ability to write modular and optimised code using Python, SQL, and Spark/Hive,
  • AI-curious - You possess deeper-than-surface-level insights into AI models and preferably have hands-on project experience implementing them for personal or commercial projects
  • Degree qualified in Data Science, Machine Learning, Computer Science, Computational Linguistics, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Physics.
  • If you have tech or growth oriented personal projects, websites/blogs or experience with tech start-ups, it is a plus!
