What you’ll be doing as a Senior Data Scientist:

  • Design, develop, and deploy advanced analytic and machine learning models to explain or predict the behavior, experience and outcomes of patients, clinicians, and the business
  • Develop and implement feature engineering strategies and pipelines
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams (e.g. product, marketing, growth, operations, clinical, etc.) to identify opportunities for data-driven decision making and translate business objectives into data science problems, and vice versa
  • Communicate complex data science concepts, ideas and results to technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Contribute to developing core data science and machine learning frameworks that shape the Data organization

Requirements:

  • At least 4 years of relevant data science, analytics or machine learning professional experience
  • Experience in the entire ML model lifecycle (approach ideation and design, EDA, data/feature engineering, development, deployment, monitoring and iteration)
  • Results-oriented with solid understanding and experience in a variety of ML and statistical techniques (such as regression, classification, clustering, forecasting, causal inference methods, recommender systems, NLP, etc.).
  • Track record of successfully developing and deploying ML models, and designing and building scalable pipelines
  • Experience with cloud-based platforms, such as GCP or AWS
  • Experience working with large datasets (healthcare-relevant datasets are a plus)
  • Interest in being an early DS/ML team member, with the technical ability to develop high value models independently while mentoring junior team members and prioritizing collaboration with your teammates and stakeholders to ensure successful design and implementation
  • Highly motivated to build relationships with teammates and stakeholders, and increase data literacy and expertise throughout the organization. This position is more than heads down individual technical work.

  • Bonuses:
    • Experience working with large healthcare or healthcare related data sets
    • Designing and analyzing A|B tests
    • ML model deployment experience in GCP
    • Experience implementing production grade LLMs and/or chatbots
    • Bayesian inference experience in Clinical Decision Support and/or Operations Research
