Bloomberg Connects is a rapidly-growing, free app offering digital guides to museums, galleries, and cultural spaces around the world. Launched in November 2019, the app features engaging, multi-media guides with insightful and unique content exclusive to each of our partners such as The Guggenheim, The Metropolitan Museum of Art, Brooklyn Museum, and many more.
We are a team of interaction and visual designers, engineers and leaders working with Bloomberg Philanthropies on Bloomberg Connects, a platform that brings digital access to arts and culture institutions around the world.
For our cultural partners, we design and build tools to manage their collections, informed by research and interviews with the staff at the world’s top arts and culture institutions. For everyone we design and build a mobile app, Bloomberg Connects, to bring access to the arts right to the users’ hands. Our designers and engineers work side-by-side with each other daily to deliver delightful experiences with accessibility and usability at the core. We’ll trust you to:
- Participate in a cross-functional agile team spanning design and engineering.
- Build and support dashboard and reporting workflows that provide our internal stakeholders and cultural partners access to timely, flexible and insightful data.
- Conduct ad hoc data analysis and data quality investigations.
- Analyze historical data to extract meaningful insights and learnings from large and complicated data sets.
- Identify trends to support decision making, including written and verbal presentation of results and recommendations.
- Work closely with Product Managers, Designers, and Engineers to design, implement and track A/B experiments surrounding the release of new features.
You’ll need to have:
- 5+ years with Python.
- 5+ years of data analysis in SQL and data visualization using business intelligence tools.
- A background in statistical analysis. (regression models, A/B testing)
- A degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering or related technology field/Equivalent Experience
Even better if you have:
- Familiarity with relational data modeling.
- Exposure working with Data Warehouses.
- Experience training and applying machine learning models.

Salary Range: 160,000 - 250,000 USD Annually + Benefits + Bonus
The referenced salary range is based on the Company's good faith belief at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as geographic location, work experience, market conditions, education/training and skill level.
