Duties:

Help develop, construct and maintain large-scale data processing systems that collects data from variety of structured and unstructured data sources, stores data in a scale-out data lake and prepare the data using ELT (Extract, Load, Transform) techniques in preparation for the Data Science data exploration and analytic modeling.

This includes: Collect the data from a variety of traditional and non-traditional sources, stores it in a data repository, cleanses and integrates the data (data prep) for analysis. Evaluate, compare and improve the different approaches including design patterns innovation, data lifecycle design, data ontology alignment, annotated datasets, and elastic search approaches. Research & Implement Advanced AI/ ML technologies such as NLP, Text Analytics to link the external as well as internal consumer complaints & Social Media data to generate insights, improve product designs and drive innovations. Developing analytics solutions to business questions; deep dive and information extraction relevant to business needs. Provide direct leadership to Data Engineer, and work with him/her to develop data driven solutions for various stakeholders. Collaborate closely with Market Experts in the Shavers/Stationery department to generate data-driven Insights. Provide support in ensuring data management, integrity, quality and consistency throughout the sources for data including: standards and processes to source, ingest, prepare and explore data; support design, build, and implement data analytics structures and reporting process. Play a key role in the sourcing, processing and extraction of insights and support engagement and reporting in close collaboration with other stakeholders. Provide support in using analytics to provide insights, automate business actions, and improve the speed and quality of decisions. Take ownership of quality, accuracy and usability of data and reporting structure/dashboards.

Includes: developing & maintaining advanced analytical dashboards in Power BI & Excel - helping various teams with the descriptive as well as diagnostic analysis. Drive data quality, availability, analytics capability throughout the company.

Requirements: Requires Master’s degree in Data Analytics Engineering, Computer Science or related field of study, and 2 years of experience in any job title/occupation/position involving data analysis and inference. Experience specified must include 2 years of experience with each of the following: working with relational databases (SQL) and non-relational databases (NoSQL) and querying Microsoft SQL; analytics software tools/languages (R or Python) and machine learning techniques; and visualization platforms and customization, including Power BI, Qliksense or Tableau. Experience specified must include 1 year of experience with each of the following: data management; CPG industry translating data analysis to information, insights and link to application/business; working with flat files and APIs from third party vendors; development and scaling analytic solutions, including in the cloud; machine learning/AI; and doing NLP analyses on web-listening data for insight generation. Telecommuting permitted up to 3 days per week.

Salary: $133,952/year
