About Finance Data Science & Analytics
Finance Data Science and Analytics (DS&A) partners across the enterprise to drive analyses and forecasts for the key metrics and investment decisions across the enterprise. The team leverages the latest modelling and analytics techniques to provide insights on both current and future performance. DS&A mission is to transform the way data science credibly drives sustainable, long-term growth for the enterprise as early adopters of next-generation technology. We re-invent forecasting, tracking and analytical processes, leveraging the latest tools and setting the standard for advanced analytics.
About the Manager role:
Description:
DS&A works with various stakeholders across the enterprise - within Finance (Corporate Planning, LFO organizations), Marketing, Risk, and other organizations. The team powers Prospect CMV Services and Analytics, enterprise-wide Prospect Acquisitions Performance Analytics, Offer Insights, and Billings/Revenue intelligence across customer segments. The team operates in a fast-paced environment and is tasked with solving business problems via data and insights through bespoke analytics and standard off-the-rack solutions, while managing a very wide range of stakeholders.
How will you make an impact in this role?
- Lead & mentor a high performing team of analysts to drive strategic insights & innovation.
- Drive insights & analytics across Prospect Acquisition performance for the enterprise by owning data capabilities & key business metrics.
- Drive intelligence on welcome offer strategy, qualification & provide strategic insights into Incentives.
- Provide visibility into Incentives P&L & support plan / monthly actualization & forecasting.
- Oversee strategic & portfolio analysis initiatives to drive agile investment decisions.
- Enable consensus on elevated offer performance across key stakeholders through granular insights.
- Work closely with strategic partners on providing early performance insights on Plan Investments for. Support Finance senior leadership and other stakeholders on analytical studies & answering strategic questions across enterprise.
- Partner very closely with key stakeholders across the enterprise to drive analytics.
- Oversee development of granular & robust forecasting framework for key behaviors.
- Look for opportunities and display strong thought leadership to enhance forecasting and analytical techniques.
- Collaborate with Product & Tech partners to manage standard dashboard solutions and data capabilities to turn around analytics efficiently and with speed-to-market.
Qualifications:
- Hands-on experience working on financial analytics using large amounts of data.
- Proficiency in SQL, Hive/Yellow Brick required; Python preferred.
- TM1, Tableau, Power BI or other visualization tools experience is strongly preferred.
- BS/MS in Finance, Mathematics, Statistics or Computer Science
- Advanced excel & modeling skills with high level of proficiency in PowerPoint is required.
- Previous card/risk management experience and/or 5+ years of work experience preferred.
- Good to have hands-on with Big Query & Google Cloud.

- Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence key stakeholders with data driven insights.
- Experience with various Modelling techniques & ML/AI algorithms is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to identify, groom, and manage analytical/technical resources to gain maximum efficiency and productivity.
