Sabot Consulting is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Data Scientist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in statistical analysis, machine learning, and data modeling. The Data Scientist will play a key role in extracting meaningful insights from large datasets to inform business decisions and drive innovation.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze existing data infrastructure and processes, identifying potential gaps and issues.
- Apply statistical and machine learning techniques to develop predictive models.
- Conduct hypothesis testing and data diagnostics.
- Define and develop use cases related to independence and population health strategies.
- Identify measurable domains of independence using data-driven approaches.
- Model Medicaid, human services, and other relevant data to evaluate outcomes and strategies.
- Formulate program components and identify outcome metrics.
- Analyze and make recommendations regarding existing independence improvement programs.
- Provide recommendations for future data investments and strategies.
- Create comprehensive reports and presentations illustrating findings and insights.
- Engage with stakeholders to determine data elements that inform health outcome measures.
- Document and communicate analytical findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Assist in creating a plan for sustaining and measuring progress in health and independence using data analytics.
Must Have:
- Results Driven.
- Be a proven facilitator of data analytics projects demonstrated by resume or portfolio outlining experience in planning and both short and long-term implementation.
- Experience should demonstrate the ability to successfully balance and move agencies and external stakeholders, with different interests and perspectives, toward a common goal.
- Knowledge and Experience in Health and Human Services Programs. Familiarity with health and human services, complex Medicaid and human services data and diagnostics, data collection and utilization planning, application of data analysis findings to certain populations and Department -wide decision-making processes, particularly those related to developing high impact, targeted service delivery models and interventions that increase independence, outcome development, measurement and data collection, organizational change management, strategic planning, and Medicaid and human services information technology systems.
- Conflict Resolution/Change Management.
- Must demonstrate ability to manage and navigate dynamics of policy, technology, and stakeholder inputs. This includes being able to identify background influences and perspectives underlying different positions and beliefs, and to effectively identify and manage dynamics, including individuals or offices who could become counterproductive to successful outcomes of the process.
