With that in mind we’re looking for a Data Scientist to help us as we do so.

Are you an excellent communicator and able to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders? Do you have experience building data driven ML models in Python? And do you have a technical understanding of analytics, reporting and visualisation tools and techniques and are comfortable working in a fast-paced dynamic environment?

Working as part of the Data Science and Analytics team within our Asset Intelligence and Innovation area, you will be tasked with continually increasing our understanding of our customers and our operations, helping us to predict risk, modelling response to incidents and infrastructure failures and developing frameworks for analysing interactions.

You will be responsible for identifying when and how we can apply statistical or machine-learning techniques to improve business performance, building analytics models, designing statistical experiments and reporting these findings to senior stakeholders via PowerBI dashboards or insights packs.

You’ll help us to evaluate new products or processes and work collaboratively with the entire business to impactful changes.

In this role we will look for you to have previous experience using program analytics Python or similar and a good level of SQL skills and also Cloud computing. You will also have good communication and organisational skills and analytical skills.
