Search & Recommendations team within MSAI is hiring for strong data scientist. The team works on Semantic Search, Viva Topics, Entity Extractions, Web Content Recommendation etc., powering M365 CoPilot, Search & Recommendations . As a Senior Data Scientist, you will have the opportunity to impact millions of enterprise users and help them save time with numerous features. The role involves building next set of intelligence features around search & recommendations, scaling to large number of for M365 customers. You will be empowered to drive innovation by producing new and exciting ideas to creatively solve issues, as well as actively look for opportunities to improve the product quality.

Responsibilities

We have an exciting set of projects lined up which includes but not limited to

Entity Extractions at scale, such as Topic & Definitions for Viva Topics
Improving Semantic Search
Build User Profile & Interest using various activities
Online Reinforcement learning to improve recommendations

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
10+ years of experience in Data Science & Software Development
Strong Analytical & Problem Solving skills
Strong Expertise in Designing & implementing Data Solutions at scale
A focus on detail and being result oriented
Excellent debugging skills
Great collaboration working with teams across the globe
