Data Science Analyst
Employment Information
Key Role:
Work closely with a variety of clients to capture and document information requirements, formulate data collection plans, and implement normalization processes. Interpret results independently using a variety of techniques, ranging from simple data aggregation to more complex data analysis. Work with the client and project leadership to identify analytical requirements and synchronize, integrate, and operate working R model. Adapt quickly to comprehend requirement and model constraints and needs and resolve those challenges, applying data analysis expertise to create solutions through the application of appropriate analytical techniques and methods.
Basic Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience working directly with clients to gather requirements, facilitate analysis, and deliver high quality results
- Experience deconstructing analysis, showing analytic process and methodology, validating the tools used to create analysis, and making recommendations based on analysis
- Secret clearance
- Bachelor's degree
Additional Qualifications:
- Experience with analysis at strategic and operational levels
- Experience with data science
- Experience with R and R Shiny
- Experience using Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Knowledge of basic statistics
- Knowledge of data visualization tools
- Possession of excellent data-gathering, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Top Secret clearance

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $58,400.00 to $133,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
